Impact Metrics

Tracking and visualizing organizational impact goals.

Impact Metrics

The Impact Metrics module allows your organization to quantitatively track its social and operational objectives over time. This tool is essential for visualizing progress towards long-term goals and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.

Defining Metrics

To begin tracking progress, you must define what metrics matter to your organization:

  1. Navigate to the Impact Metrics section.
  2. Click Create Metric.
  3. Define the metric parameters, including the title (e.g., "Total Beneficiaries Reached", "Solar Panels Installed") and the target goal.
  4. Specify the metric type (Number, Percentage, Currency, or Yes/No), the tracking timeframe (Start Date and End Date), and a scoring weight for overall portfolio calculations.

Tracking Progress

Once metrics are established, you can record updates:

  • Manual Logging: You can manually log historical progress points at specific date intervals to track growth.
  • Visualizations: The dashboard automatically generates charts and trendlines mapping your current progress against your defined target goals. These visualizations provide a clear, easy-to-understand view of your impact trajectory.

Integration with Field Data

While metrics can be updated manually, they can also serve as a high-level aggregation of the raw data collected through the Reports and KYC modules, giving you a holistic view of how individual field operations contribute to your broader organizational targets.
