KYC Management

How to create, manage, and review KYC verification requests.

KYC Management

The KYC (Know Your Customer) module is designed to streamline your field verification processes. From this page, you can create new verification jobs, assign them to field agents, and review submitted data.

Creating a Verification Request

To initiate a new verification process:

  1. Navigate to the KYC module from the sidebar.
  2. Click the New Request button.
  3. Fill out the required customer details (Name, Phone Number, Address).
    • Important: To ensure data integrity, street names must contain at least two words (e.g., "Adekunle Fajuyi"). The system enforces unique street name restrictions to prevent duplicate addresses for multiple customers.
  4. Optionally, upload supporting documents (e.g., utility bills, ID cards) that the field agent can reference on their mobile app while conducting the verification.

Viewing and Editing Requests

Once a request is created, it is dispatched to the available pool for field agents to claim.

  • Editing Information: You can edit a request's details at any time before it is completed. Any updates made on the dashboard will immediately sync and reflect on the field agent's mobile app, even if the job has already been claimed.
  • Job Profiles: Click on any KYC request in the list to view its full profile. This view displays the uploaded documents, agent submissions, geolocation data, and automatically generated PDF reports.
  • Custom Instructions: You can provide specific instructions for each verification job. These instructions will be displayed on the final generated PDF report and are visible to the agent.

Job Expiry Rule

To maintain an active and healthy pool of verification requests, jobs have a strict 7-day expiry rule:

  • If a verification job is created but remains unclaimed by any field agent for 7 days, it will automatically expire.
  • Expired jobs are removed from the mobile app's availability pool and will show an Expired status on the web dashboard.

Exporting Data

You can export your verification data for offline analysis or external reporting:

  1. Apply your desired filters (Date, Status, Organization) on the KYC page.
  2. Click the Export CSV button at the top of the page.
  3. A .csv file containing the filtered list of verification requests will be downloaded to your device.
